... well, not really, but it felt like, at least if you were rooting for Arkansas. Oh yeah, the Razorbacks upsetted LSU in one of the best games this season. Both teams refused to lose and took the game into triple overtime. It was Arkansas' Matterral Richardson who ended the game, as he intercepted Matt Flynn's pass for the two-point-conversion in the 3rd OT. The final score was 50-48. Arkansas also put LSU's hopes for the National Championship in jeopardy. There has never been a team with two losses in the title game.
How did Arkansas beat the No.1 ranked LSU Tigers? They pound the ball-McFadden, Hillis and Jones combined for 380 yards rushing. Heisman candidate Darren McFadden rushed for 204 yards and 3 TDs and he passed for 34 yards and one touchdown. Although it looks like a one-man show, it was definitely a team effort to beat LSU-McFadden wasn't even on the field for the game winning touchdown and two-point-conversion.
Yesterday the Arkansas Razorbacks were the best team on the field and maybe in the country.
